RSPB Middleton - 4 Whooper Swan, 2 Curlew, 3 Pink-footed Geese, 71 Golden Plover (D Corfield), 18 Shelduck, 4 Egyptian Geese, 4 Pochard, 2 Oystercatcher [Jubilee Wetlands]. Whoopers were feeding in field to North of North Pit late afternoon before flying into Jubilee North at dusk. Mediterranean Gull recorded in lookout logbook on Fishers Mill today - can anyone confirm.
KWP - Curlew in field opposite main entrance (T Perrins].
Portleys Lane/B4091 Junction - The 3 Pink-Footed Geese & 5 Egyptian Geese in field to South of junction at 4.30pm (P Andrews).
Dosthill Lake (Waterski Pools) - 9 Oystercatcher roosted on the jetty.

2nd March

RSPB Middleton (Staffs) - Redshank [North Pit], Siskin/Redpoll flock (M Scott) 7 Goldeneye [Dosthill NR] (R Walker), 3 Pink-footed Geese, 4 Golden Plover, 5 Egyptian Geese, 4 Oystercatcher [Jubilee Wetlands].
Drayton Bassett - 4 Whooper Swan still in field Portleys Lane (T Perrins, R Walker).
KWP North - Great Egret [Cliff Pool], Green Sandpiper [River] (T Perrins).

1st March

RSPB Middleton - 4 Whooper Swans on Jubilee Wetlands early am before flying North (D Corfield, RSPB), 4 Curlew (RSPB), 2 Redshank, Great Egret, 40 Golden Plover, 2 Sand Martins (D Corfield), Golden Plover had increased to 89 by dusk, Dunlin [Canal Scrape], 9 Goosander [North Pit], 7 Egyptian Geese [West side].
Alvecote - Great Egret, 4 Little Egret, Shelduck (M Scott).
Ladywalk NR (WMBC Members only) - Ringed Plover, Peregrine, Willow Tit, Siskin, Redpoll, 3 Little Egret (S Cawthray).
