RSPB Middleton (Staffs) - Male White Wagtail [River Scrape] (D Hutton), Black-Tailed Godwit, 7 Avocet, 2 Little Ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, Garden Warbler, Ruff,  [Jubilee Wetlands], Wheatear [North Pit], Cuckoo & 2 Egyptian Geese [Dosthill NR] (S Atkinson).
Birchmoor - 8 Little Ringed Plover in flooded field (R Smith).
Alvecote - 2  (m&f) Garganey, Common Sandpiper, Raven & 90+ House Martins/Swallows (M Scott).
KWP Bodymoor Heath Water - 6 Arctic Tern & 20 Common Tern (S Cawthray), Yellow Wagtail (M Pollock).
Wishaw - 2 Wheatear, 4 Yellow Wagtail, 2 White Wagtail & Yellowhammer all on the muck heap (S Cawthray).

One of the 7 Avocet at RSPB Middleton is coloured ringed and believed to be of French origin. Left tibia large yellow ring with 2 horizontal lines, right tibia 2 or possibly 3 colour rings. Scheme can be found here.

This could possibly be our bird (see 23/04/18 post) as the yellow ring above the black ring looked longer and thus could be 2 rings. Only problem is, it was seen in Yorkshire on the 21st of April 2018. Let's hope it hangs around and someone gets a good picture.
