RSPB Middleton (Staffs) - Bittern flew from Northern Edge of Fishers Mill Pool towards Dosthill NR (RSPB). 2 juv Whooper Swans heading North through Dosthill NR, 15 Shelduck, 6 Goldeneye, 4 Water Rail, c.200 Lapwing, Raven, Chiffchaff (S Cawthray).
RSPB Middleton (Warks) - Smew (f) still [Southern edge of Fishers Mill Pool] (RSPB). Lesser Spotted Woodpecker [Mill Plantation], c200 Golden Plover distant out to the East [Hurley direction] (S Cawthray). 5+ Great Egret roosted in the Heronry.
Ladywalk NR (WMBC Members only) - Whooper Swan flew from B pool in the direction of Shustoke Res, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (P Softley). Jack Snipe [below Riverwalk Hide] (K Summers), 3 Common Snipe, 4 Water Rail, Green Sandpiper, 4 Mandarin (2m2f), 5 Goosander, 4 Little Egret, c200 Wigeon, Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Chiffchaff, Woodcock, 2 Raven (PS, KS, KJB, PL).
Coton - Great Egret, 4 Common Gull, 2 Little Egret (P Forbes).
